Paying homage to its environments, Kibre’s latest project Arbour draws inspiration from the architecture and city plan of Milton Keynes to the green surroundings of rural Buckinghamshire. The building boasts an impressive range of amenities spanning the ground and 13th floors, these including a 24-hour concierge, a residents’ lounge, gym and studio, sky lounge, private dining room, multi-use event and screening room, and co-working facilities complete with phone pods and meeting rooms. With 306 apartments ranging from 1 to 3 bedrooms spread across 14 stories, the building also offers multiple external/green spaces, totalling approximately 25,510 sq ft, for tenants use.
Recognising that longevity and the ability to change its areas uses and functions if and when needed are important aspects of sustainabaility, Arbour was designed with the ability to adapt: Kibre included features such as adjustable lighting and limited the number of separating partitions allowing an area to suit the needs of the building, its tenants and its staff. Almost all furniture and hard furnishing suppliers also have a buy back policy, enabling the replacement of old, damaged or unwanted pieces to be replaced again to better suit current needs.
