The final countdown is on for this year’s Mix Awards 2024, returning to scenic Battersea Park for its 20th edition.

Tonight’s the night! The winners of this year’s Mix Awards 2024 will be announced tonight at a special 20th anniversary event at Evolution London in Battersea Park. We’ll be revealing those who won the top spot across 22 project, people and product categories including Manufacturer of the Year and Design Practice of the Year – under 50 employees and over 50 employees.
New for 2024, our 18 judges deployed their diverse experience to decide this year’s winners across four key criteria; sustainability, innovation, design and functionality. “What stood out for me this year was the versatility and design creativity of many newly launched products,” commented judge Despina Kalapoda, Senior Design Manager at Marriott International. “I was impressed with how serious designers are becoming about the environmental impact of their work, whether they are designing small bars, large office buildings or products. I particularly loved the way various practices introduced progressive designs and functions while working creatively within restrictions of heritage buildings.”
Our new trophy will debut at this year’s event, crafted in collaboration with MASS Concrete and sustainable and local suppliers. To bring our bespoke trophy to life, MASS Cocrete used a blend of recycled black concrete mix and recycled aggregate known as stent – a byproduct of china clay mineral extraction. Casting the trophy exactly to size, MASS Concrete precisely calculated the required volume of concrete, eliminating any excess waste from the production process.
To help us celebrate the 20th edition of Mix Awards we welcome a packed roster of entertainment, including the London Brass Allstars, House Gospel Choir, La Discothèque and special guest DJ Erol Alkan ‘til the wee hours.
