In collaboration with Alessandro Stabile, S•CAB has crafted the Brezza armchair. With cushions and a frame that are secure and easy to fit together, the manufacturer’s latest is a innovative take on outdoor comfort. Generous upholstery leaves the round metal legs exposed lending strength and recognisability to the overall armchair.
Aesthetically pleasing yet practical, a simple gesture is all it takes to remove the upholstery on Brezza and wash or replace it, resulting in long-term durability. For Stabile, good contemporary design must incorporate elements of innovation, ethics and elegance. “I chose fabrics made from recycled yarn and then designed a non-glue construction of the various elements; the frames can be stacked to reduce the shipping footprint and consequently CO2 emissions,” says Stabile.
Brezza’s metal frame is available in an array of colours: linen, dove grey, anthracite, olive green, mocha and terracotta. A number of materials are also available for the upholstery, including recycled ecological fabrics derived from recycled waste. The wide variety of available finishes, materials and fabrics allows for personalised and coordinated design to suit all outdoor commercial spaces.
