Milliken Down to Earth - Design Copse

Milliken Down to Earth – Design Copse

Influenced by natural textures and patterns in its design, Milliken’s Down to Earth range takes inspiration from fallen leaves and twigs, swaying branches, scattered light and natural shadows to develop a series of custom patterns. The collection consists of two distinctive background designs: ‘Grounded’ and ‘Enlightened’, and two layered motif designs: ‘Leaf’ and ‘Twig.’

As well as celebrating natural influences, wellbeing is also at the heart of Milliken’s latest range, with luxurious underfoot comfort, sound absorption, acoustic performance and ergonomic properties built in. This biophilic carpet tile is engineered to look better and last longer through the use of premium quality fibre and cushion backing, making Down to Earth a cost-effective, versatile flooring solution for any commercial interior that priorities the wellbeing of its users.

When it comes to the impact of sound, flooring has an undeniably important role to play in any interior environment. Down to Earth therefore utilises Milliken’s innovative cushion backing to absorb up to 60% more ambient sound than hardback and reduce impact sound by up to 40%. The range is also available with TractionBack 2.0 adhesive-free installation, offering users a more sustainable, healthier and more efficient method of carpet fitting. Additionally, as part of Milliken’s M/PACT™ Programme, the collection is made from 60% recycled materials and is committed to responsible end of life re-use.
